Land of Little Horses Farm Park had a humble beginning in 1971. This 100 acre farm located just west of historic Gettysburg, PA became the home for 24 miniature horses and a favorite stop for tourists. Originally named the Gettysburg Miniature Horse Farm, visitors flocked to see the tiny equine.
But my how we have grown! Thirty-seven years later, the park still remains quite an attraction with its namesake miniature horses still the main draw. However, performing animal shows, educational displays and events, races, and animals of all kinds that you may actually touch and feed delight the audiences year after year. Pony rides and hayrides and special seasonal events such as our summer daycamp, autumn "pick your own pumpkin patch", and "Christmas in the Country" craft show and open house keep everyone coming back for another visit all year long.
And almost everyone loves to shop! From fine collectibles to educational toys, as well as souvenir items, our store offers quite a variety for everyone. Breyer, Hagen Renaker, Melissa and Doug, and Schleich are some of the most popular products just to name a few.
Put us in your favorites and chances are that you will find just what you've been looking for all along! We hope that you will enjoy your visit!
